Default rear window glass install on 63 Falcon ranchero

According to the vendor the rear glass install on my falcon ranchero has to be done from the inside and not the outside like most vehicles. I tried today and couldn't figure out how to do this. Does anyone have any tips on how to do it right?

Do you have a shop manual for the car?

On a relatively flat glass, the seal may go either way but in my experience doing headliners and such, most use the rope on the inside of the cab to pull the seal lip inside. The outside lip is usually too large depending on the design of the seal.

The Falcon based Ranchero may be the exception to the rule due to the way the sheet metal back there was designed. Here is a Link that mentions 1960 thru 65 models and their strange installation.
