Default Steering wheel paint color

I just bought a repo shoe box Ford steering wheel and would like to know if possible the paint code or color or something close Someone has used for my column. It’s kinda Ivoryish greyish. Not smart enough or don’t have old enough technology to upload a photo. Thanks David

I have an Early Ford V8 book at home and can see if it’s in there for you. It’ll be a couple hours. Somebody else will probably come up with it sooner.......Mark

I tried International Harvester on test panel and it came up more white. Thank you! I can wait. Dave

For a 49 and 50 ford car, not wagon and not 50 Crestliner, the wheel should be the same whitish ivory color as the dash knobs while the column should be the same metallic gray as the dash.

Lot of times it's best to stop at your local paint vendor and have them scan the good known paint off the part you are trying to paint match.

It would be nice to know the year. '51 wheels are quite a bit different than '49-'50.

Probably the earlier one, though.
