Default 1940 brake pedal return spring 01A-2456

Is this photo of a NOS 1940 brake pedal return spring? Seems they are hard to find and the chassis parts books do not list the length. The spring below is 4.25" OAL. I need to know with certainty. Anyone have one NOS they can compare?

Your spring looks like it might be the correct spring. Give it a try. If it doesn't fit
C&G has what you need. look here.

The truck spring has a different number.

C&G gets virtually everything from Carpenter and Drake. Even though they are located in my back yard, I go to those guys not C&G. Just me.

There are several aftermarket suppliers that sell springs that are incorrect in shape and length. I would like to confirm dimensions and basic shape off a NOS (New Old Stock from Ford) spring. I will wait for Michael return. Thank you everyone!
