Cool 1933 Ford Front Spindles

Does anyone know if the later Ford front spindles, say 35-40, are any different from the 33 Ford spindles ? I know the spindle bolt is different on 33-34 for brake reasons but are they the same diameter and length or close ?

i bought a bushing from the early ford garage in ca. for the inner bearing. 32 34 spindle is slightly smaller there, and now that it all together the dust cap wont go on, spindle must be longer a bit too. i never heard that part before.

I think you are asking about the king pins instead of spindle bolts. The pins are the same diameter but the bearing goes on top of the 33 spindle and is sandwiched in between the axle and the spindle with later spindles.
They are probably near the same length but the lock pin location is different.

Like Andy says, KING PINS (on FORDS) are all the same diameter. Lengths and lock pin locations can vary for different years. Always purchase king pins based on year of spindle. DD

It would be easier to answer the question if we were aware of what you're wanting to accomplish. A swap of some kind? Or? As well as what has already been mentioned in the previous replies, one of the most fundamental differences is that the left 33-34 spindles have an integral steering arm which the later spindles didn't have (the later used cross-steering).
