Default Body blocks

I have a 1929 Tudor Sedan and I have been working on my hood alignment the front lower portion of the hood lapped over the radiator shell. I followed the method used to correct this problem and shimmed under cowel as expected it caused the door miss alignment. Before I went any farther I checked the gap at #4and #5 bolts I corrected the miss alignment at the door beltway by removing pad on #4 bolt and retighten bolt and brought body down by .250 and on #5 bolt removed block totally and brought down body by .350 I did this to find the thickness of blocks I would need to keep door aligned. I know this is a short term fix and removing the frame sag is the long term fix. What is the down side to this right now I don’t see any noticeable body stress. Any help would be appreciated thanks Jerry

Jerry, not really any downside as long as the doors still open without rubbing or stay closed. Are the hood clips (latches) able to keep the hood latched when driving?
