Does anyone know where I can get the backing plate adjusters for a 1940 rear backing plate? My backing plate is missing them.

Why do you want to get the adjusters.

You should replace the whole backing plate rather than trying to replace the adjusters. The backing plates are pretty common and reasonably priced.
