WTB '33. Ford right door latch
City:
KCMO
State:
Mo
Looking for a good passenger door latch for a '33. Only '33 will work, needs to be push inside handle to open. Got an early '34 one time by mistake, they're pull inside handle to open so don't want to do that again. Let me know what you got! Thanks, Eric

Anyone? Tired of having to slam the door to close it!

Re: WTB '33. Ford right door latch
If you have to slam the door to close, maybe it's an adjustment problem. All the 33 and 34 door latches have wear points and need to be lubed periodically. As they wear, the mechanisms twist and operate harder. Also the springs can weaken or break but replacements are available. I have had good luck, disassembling, welding up/filing down wear points (even a little thicker than original), replacing springs and relubing but I don't have any extra latches currently.
