Default WTB '33. Ford right door latch

City: KCMO
State: Mo

Looking for a good passenger door latch for a '33. Only '33 will work, needs to be push inside handle to open. Got an early '34 one time by mistake, they're pull inside handle to open so don't want to do that again. Let me know what you got! Thanks, Eric

Anyone? Tired of having to slam the door to close it!

If you have to slam the door to close, maybe it's an adjustment problem. All the 33 and 34 door latches have wear points and need to be lubed periodically. As they wear, the mechanisms twist and operate harder. Also the springs can weaken or break but replacements are available. I have had good luck, disassembling, welding up/filing down wear points (even a little thicker than original), replacing springs and relubing but I don't have any extra latches currently.

I've tried adjusting it but no help, lubing kind of helps but only for a short time. My drivers door shuts perfect, you'd think it would be the other way around! If I can't find a good one I may have to give rebuilding it a shot, but the way it's put together with bend over tabs it doesn't look like it would go back together very easily. Is there a thread on here that shows how to do it?
