Default 33 paint code

Would any one have the PPG paint code for Ford coach maroon, the ford code is M-978, Dupont is 246-30208.
Or would the paint shop be able to cross these over to the PPG he uses.
We have spent 3 weeks preparing the car for the repaint and sure as dont want to mess it up.

Any good paint supply store can cross reference the color, or "scan" the actual color and get a formula for the closest match in their particular brand.

There is no code that covers PPG paints as a whole. Every type of paint has a differant formula. I'm more formilular with DuPont and they have differant mixing formulas for Imron, Centori and so on. DuPont has a department that does the mixing formulas for old cars, my grandaughter was the one doing that for a number of years but is now doing formulas for cars not yet manufactured. I think she is working on 2013 or 2014 modles now. G.M.
