Default 41 Ford pillar light info

I have a 41 Ford business coupe and would like to know how to disassemble the interior lights on the B pillar - I got a set of nos lights and have looked at them but see no obvious way to take them apart to mount them - considering how much I paid for these, I thought I would seek some advise from someone before doing too much prying... thanks for any info.

If they are like 42-48 cover should pry off (gently) and two small sheet metal screws hold the body to the pillar. Finding the light with the switch was one of the most difficult parts of my 42 Ford coupe project. The body grounds to the pillar.

On mine the switch was on the passenger side. Then the wire goes across to the non switch side.

My switch is on the same side as yours except it is the drivers side

Your switch can only be on the right side of the car, which is driver side only if you have a RHD vehicle.

This is an example of why everyone should have their location in their profile. We can't tell if you may have a RHD vehicle, because you don't have your location in your profile. WHY NOT?!

On my 41 the cover can be removed by gently prying. It's a snug friction fit.
