B is for body style 35A,B; 45A,B; 49A; 50A,B; 68A,B; 190A (8 leaf)

C is for body style 40A,B (7 leaf)
Roadster

D is for body style 60A,B,C; 130A,B; 155A,B,C,D; 165A,B,C,D; 170A,B;255A (10 leaf)
Fordor Leatherback, Delux Delivery, Town Sedan (Murray & Briggs), Fordor (Murray & Briggs)

Thanks Marco for all the time you spend to do research and post valuable information!

Tom, Marco
I do not see the 400 A rear spring listed. Is it the same as the vicky?

Thanks Tom. I think I may have been the one to ask about the codes.

Jim, I hope Marco will see this and come on with an answer to your 400A question. I'll see if I can find any information in my 1931 Parts Price List.

Thanks for posting this chart Tom ... a very interesting chart to verify the composition of each spring...Great work Marco. The 180A Deluxe Phaeton Spring is not shown either but it is easy enough to check P38 of De Angelis and find that spring as A 5560-B making it a "B" on the chart... The A190, A400, 180A were each unique. But, I have searched through my parts books (last one issued July 1931) and cannot find a spring for the A400. Has anyone checked the A400 Group?

The Judging Standard (B2 section and group 4-5) states that the 400-A used an 8 leaf rear spring ( A-5560-B) and that the lower leaf on some vehicles was thicker than normal
