Default Engine lopping in first and second gear

Drove my 30 tudor today and noticed that in first and second it seemed to try to lope. It runs perfect going down the road at 50 miles per hour down to 10. I played with the advance but didn't seem to help. Haven't checked the point gap in probably 2000 miles. Could this be my trouble? I'll check the points tomorrow.

Possibly something to do with the GAV adjustment.
Was it cold when it happened? Did it run good after I warmed up? Possibly something in one of the jets.

If the GAV is opened too far it will cause the engine to lope at idle if idle speed is above where the slow idle circuit speed is suppose to be . I mostly adjust mine a bit faster than the low speed idle and they will lope unless I close the GAV a bit . Try running at no more than one quarter turn open after warm up . If this doesn''t work try running with the GAV closed even more . I run my cars with B carbs with the GAV closed completely after warm up .
