Radiator cap problem 31 coupe
I’m sure a simple answer. The radiator cap does not tighten down and hold. I can turn it until it catches but then when I push it further it slip loose again. Has to be an easy fix but let me know, Pete

Maybe a thicker gasket.

Adjust the tabs/ears on the cap, x-2 on a new gasket

Re: Radiator cap problem 31 coupe
I used high temp red silicone sealer between the cap and the gasket and the problem was solved for me . Before that , when I would accelerate , water would escape around the radiator cap .
