Default Was there once a Model A open bus on Catalina Island?

Seems to me that I remember that there was a local who lived on Catalina Island, in Southern California who owned a Model A open bus vehicle.
Do any of you remember that?
Does anyone know what ever happened to that vehicle?
Were there ever Model A tours to the island, prior to only allowing golf carts?
Thanks in advance.

Though kinda far from the islands off the California coast, there is one for sale in Norway:

I grew up in San Pedro. As a kid, I went to Catalina Island often. This would have been in the late 1970s and early 1980s. I don't remember a Model A bus. The only old car I remember was a brass Model T roadster that was on display in the old Casino.

The Model T Ford Club of America (MTFCA) hosted a few national tours on Catalina Island back in the 1970s and maybe before. I attended one as a kid. The car in my avatar was also there on at least one MTFCA tour. If you read Bruce McCalley and Glenn Embree's book "From Here to Obscurity" (the Model T equivalent of the book "Henry's Lady") many of photographs in the book were taken at one of the MTFCA tours in Catalina.

I don't remember any Model A club tours.

There was a handyman that had a T roadster pickup with a ladder rack that I would see from time to time in Avalon.

Yes, that is a very cool looking bus. With all those bench seats, it must have several doors on the passenger side.

Thank you everyone for sharing your memories and comments. I'm pretty sure I read a short article or saw a picture of a model a bus, wagon, or truck that was used at Catalina island. I wonder if it was in one of the national magazines? If I find out, I'll report back.
