Default Orientation of Fender Brace Bolts/Nuts

Quention on the proper orientation of the bolts used to hold both the front and rear fender baces (29 Coupe). Are the bolts positioned to the inside of the car (nuts outside) or the other way around?

Also please let me know if the rear bolts are oridented in a different manner than the front ones.

Thanks - Hunter

I have mine with the nuts inboard just cause it looked better, same for the rear.
