Carburetor
Does anyone have an exploded diagram for a Tillotson F-1B?

Re: Carburetor
There was a thread on that carb maybe a few months ago, but I haven't been able to find it using Search function. There was a detailed article about rebuilding that carb by some guy in Tacoma published in Skinned Knuckles and subsequently presented at the joint Tacoma meet in 1994 (!). As I recall his talk, the guy's main point was that the carb was a good design that was very efficient. Some one in the thread turned up the reference.

Re: Carburetor
The guy who gave the talk at Tacoma and published in Skinned Knuckles is Russel Baetke (deceased, I believe). His talk at Tacoma was the best prepared and presented one that I have ever heard. You can rely on anything that he has written.

Re: Carburetor
You are completely right; that's the fellow, a real gentleman. He had me over to his house and took me to a drug store where I could photocopy a SK back issue. For a while, I entertained the ambition to rebuild my F1B, but it passed.
