Default Glass installation in Tudor rear side window

I have removed very old non-Ford glass mountings. I have rebuilt the regulator. I have installed the felt glass guides. How do I install the glass and regulator?

Do I need to remove one of the guides and install glass and slide together?

Hello Stuart I had the same problem I am new to the hobby and could not get an answer on this topic this is how I got my glass in... put only one side of felt channels in then put my glass in window channel on one side then slid other channel down into the window area with some slick window cleaner on channels and it slid down between glass and opening takes some time!!!! also had to use original felt channel on one side of each window in back quarter glass repo channels were to big as far as the regulator they fit in with 3 screws I put them in before glass is put in hope this helps.
