Default Fulton wind wings

John mentioned I look at Fulton wind wings for my pickup. Does anyone have these on their cars? The big advantage is that there are no holes to drill in the doors. Are there and disadvantages besides costing 3 times what the others cost? A&L stocks them, they are on the last page of their catalog.

My father in law had the wind wings where you didn't have to drill any holes on his '30 Coupe. They worked fine - kept breezes out of the passenger compartment as all good wing wings should do. There were a couple of drawbacks that I remember - you had to keep the brackets fairly tight or else they would work loose. The other drawback was that you HAD to make sure the wind wings were parallel to the regular windows before you tried to put the window up. If they weren't, you risked chipping the windwing glass or the window glass.
