Makeshift flag holder
Needed a quick flag holder for the front of the A, so I took a piece of 2x4, cut it to the curve of the bumper, notched the ends, added some sheet metal brackets to the ends and bolted them on to the bumper clamps. Painted the whole thing flat black.

Re: Makeshift flag holder
I just finished doing something similar. small piece or 3/4 x 3, 1 verticle hole a 45 holw at each side on the top, screwed to a 4 piece of paint stirrer, paint black and mount to center bumper bokt in front. 3 flags 4x6 at ocean state job lot, cheap and efficent. Easy to put flags in and take out

If you really want simple and cheap, stop by the farm store and buy the plastic clips used to string electric fence on steel rods. At 20 to 30 cents each you cannot beat the price and they install in seconds. No picture, but farmers will see how they work to hold a flag. Rainmaker Ron |
