You really shouldn't post your vin for everyone to see.

Doesn't look to be an original model a vin number to me. You might check model a club of America for decoding information

Isn't the CA indicate a Canadian car?

Few days back I searched and found a great chart but for the life of me I can't find it again....

Ahhh. Found it.

What year is the car? Its a very low number and if it is not an early car that might mean something. Canada? Hopefully someone knows.

That engine number is a Canadian number. It was stamped about march 5, 1929.

CA104283......CA stands for Canadian and 104283 is a fairly low number.

I'm not sure about Canadian numbers and was wondering if there could also be a U.S. number "A104283"? Or, was Canada assigned a batch of numbers not to be duplicated in the U.S.?

Canada had their own letters & numbers. After 150,000 engines built[ Aug. '29],another letter was added to 'CA' [ CAQ etc.] & they then were done in batches of 10,000 except for last smaller. batch.
