Quail inquiry... for the experts
Comparing two original Stanco quails 1929 & 1931
I know the bases are different but.... was the bird & upper cap identical for all years? |

Re: Quail inquiry... for the experts
I am not sure but the base as you said are different and i would say so is the top piece and bird. Never had a 28/29 quail to compare to my 30/31's.

Re: Quail inquiry... for the experts
Hi Peter...There's some very good pictures of the 28-29 Stanco on Vince's website.
(if you ever get a spare minute to compare it to yours?) I found the identical 28-29 unit, except mine's broken at the hinge & missing the base. I'd like to find an original 31 base and repair it for my 31 coupe....except it has to look authentic when the dust settles. Thanks. |

.....not the reply I was hoping for. Looks like a have a broken & homeless 29 quail to trade for someone's 31 unit? |
