I was looking at Bob Johnsons old surveys and found the one having to do with Int. Model A day interesting.

On those taking the survey 47% wanted it in July for Henry Ford's Birthday, 17% wanted it on the birthday of the Model A (I assume October 20), and 17% wanted it in Sept.

When is International Model A Day this year, and when was it last year?

According to the Model A Restorer's Club on Facebook, it's Sept 18th this year. So that's the date we've gone with for our local chapter. Have not been able to obtain patches yet and the website has not been updated from last year, last time I checked.

It was Sept 26th, last year.

IMAFD is Saturday,Sept 18th with a LOCAL rain date of Sunday Sept 19.
Certain clubs with a number of mdmbers of the Jewish faith are also using the Sunday date to not interfere with Yum Kippur observances.
Lane Reid of Ashville's Old Timer's Club is making the patches but we are looking for someone to handle their distribution as I did last year.
Any Volunteers?
I have sent Ryan and Dale PDF posters with the request they be posted to assist in spreading the word.

I believe our club, San Fernando Valley Model A's is going to hold it on sunday Sept 19 so as not to interfere with the Jewish Holiday
