Question H&h

hey does anyone know if H&H are open sent 3 emails over 2 weeks NO reply bit hesitant to order anything if cant get reply

My father had them build him a SCoT blown engine with all of their reproduction goodies this spring/summer. They sent him a "it's done" video of (supposedly) the engine. I don't know how many "have you shipped the engine yet" emails he sent them after that, but it was quite a few and it took them a long time to ship out that supposedly finished engine. Then, when it did arrive, some of the polished aluminum was scratched up. All in all, not impressive service for a ~$20k engine.

TBH, I question if the video was just one they had saved of a previous engine build that they send out to everyone since they seem to build to a formula.

I heard from a customer their water glass treatment lasts about 1 year before the cracks start leaking. I have no direct experience with them except talking to one of their reps at the Portland swap meet a few years ago as they were buying up blocks that seemed to be junk to me.
