Default Re: Sandblasting, Priming, and Filling Pits??

I will see the body tomorrow for the first time since Tom and Mark have been working on it. We will determine from there which direction to go in and see how to attack this headache........uh restoration!
The plan was to do a quickee paint job.........uh no such thing but we will try to do the best for MARK as possible.
Wish us luck please as we are going to need it.
Yes this is what we used to refer to as a dirty underwear job.LOL

2nd, why the DP90? (Are you using it as a sealer over all primer, or for bonding purposes over the bare steel?)

.
Hi Brent,
Bonding purposes over bare metal. We will have to see if more metal cleaning is needed (probably) before primer goes on. Obviously metal prep will be used to clean before primer and I will never put primer over any rust. Sand blast to clean as needed. all while upholstery and chassis is under the car..........ouch!
Please do not try this at home we are trained professionalsLOL!
