Default Windshield Wiper - Original or After Market?

Before having my windshield frame re-chromed, I want make sure it has the correct holes for the windshield wiper. The car is a late January or early February 1930 Cabriolet. When we dis-assemblied the car the w/s wiper motor was on the outside. The wiper has "E.A. Laboratories, Inc. Brooklyn N.Y." cast on the back side of the case. (photos attached) Is this an original or an after market w/s wiper Would the early 1930 Cabriolet have the w/s wiper on the outside or inside and should it be vacuum or electric
