Default 8ba road draft Inner tube removal

Hi guys:

What is the best way to remove the inner part of the road draft tube (in the valley)??. I tried grabbing it with vice grips, it doesn't seem to want to move.

Thanks in Advance,
Dave

Heat around the bottom of it with propane torch.

Stick a piece of wood inside it and wiggle it. Something that’s round and a little smaller.

Just wiggle it a bit side to side it will come out. I usually put a vise grip on that tube when I find its a bit stubborn to remove and then use some side to side force. Once its out I simply tap the now some what flat area round again where the vise grip once sat.

I inserted the handle end of a large screwdriver into the tube .
Wiggled it back and forth a few times,,,,,it came right out,,,,,,no damage at all .
