Robert.... Your "20s" is certainly low, and out of place in Florida for sure. We made it down to 16º here this morning on the shores of beautiful Lake Houston. We are hoping to briefly get above freezing tomorrow afternoon. We ain't built for this in these parts.

Another hint, if it gets too cold to sleep, try setting up a tent on the bed.
They have a CO2 shut off and the sensors in the house. 27 winds, old house. You are correct though about safety. My friend had an unvented heater in his garage, that thing gave me the worst migraines. I showed him one winter night working with it on. A Bic lighter wouldn't light, held it out the door and it lit, pulled it in and it went out. He opened the door.

“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco”- A quote falsely attributed to Mark Twain but oh so true...

We had a power outage on 12/22 that affected our phone line which brings our internet. I am having my first brief glimpse of the net and not sure for how long. Phone line supposed to be fixed by Jan 3 or 4. I miss you guys, GB
