Default cheap 3rd brake lite

For about $20 at Walmart I picked up a combo brake-turn-tail LED lite.It was about 2" x 6" and is 12 v neg grd.On my 6v + grd car,Iused the grd wire as the hot wire & brake wire as grd wire.I centered the lite on bottom of rear window & glued it on with dab of clear silicone on each end. Simple matter to run wires behind back rest down to brake lite wire &grd.

Are they bright? You said it was for 12V and you have 6V. Thanks.

They won't be as bright at 12 volt, but it'll still work good. It doesnt take hardly any power to run led lights

The 6 volt THIRD BRAKELIGHT I purchased from the fellow in Connecticut, is it J&L works just perfectly, with scads of brightness, and does my directionals, to, and as I recall its like $35.

Its about one inch high and probably 14" wide.
