Using a vintage tyre changer to fit tyres to my 1941 pickup.
In this video I try and use a recently purchased vintage tyre changer. I used one decades ago but am not sure how I should use it. Anyway, I did the job and by the time I did the second one was a little more at home with how to do it. The truck looks a lot better with some new (to me) tyres and I am looking out for some I can use on the back.

That old tire changer worked just fine Mart. Bead breaker too. I've got an old Coates that came from a tire shop almost fifty years ago. Works great on most things except the "wide five" wheels.

Mart: I have a Harbor Freight tire changer I bought about 10 years ago, I drilled holes in my cement floor in my basement and used drop in anchors. When I’m not using the tire changer I thread in four flathead Allen head bolts to fill the threaded holes.
