1930er Tudor, Back seat with center armrest?
Hi Guys,
The upholstery on my 1930s Tudor Deluxe is very worn out. It is also possible that mice were having fun in the seats of my previous owner. In any case, the upholstery must be replaced in the foreseeable future. Now I like the rear seat bench with center armrest from the Fordor Deluxe. Do you know if you could retrofit this armrest with the Tudor? Here is a link to Mac's ... https://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_m...iggs-body.html Has anyone ever done this conversion and taken pictures of it? How do the two backrests differ? Best regards from Berlin / Germany Andy PS: I hope the Google Translator doesn't write nonsense again. Unfortunately, my English is not that good. |

Hey Andy, I would need to look at the prints and compare the width difference, -but to answer your question, ...yes you could do it if you have the talent/skill to do some modifications to the Seat Backrest spring. I am going to guess the part # for the rear backrest spring is A-57925-BR, but I do not own that print so I cannot verify. Working with seat springs is not that difficult if you build a fixture and some tooling. |
