Default Ammco brake shoe chart

I am looking for Ammco 4181 chart that lists the proper gage plate and sleeve when arcing shoes with fixed anchors. Used on the 890 grinder with the
8250 fixed anchor shoe clamp. I would like to buy a copy if possible. I can not seem to find any info on this chart. Thanks,, Don

I have the 4181 chart. I wanted to get the gage adapter to do some Lincoln 12 inch shoes which used a fixed anchor. Tried Ammco and all parts for the shoe arcing machines was scrapped when the asbestos dust issue opened up. The chart is about 20 inches tall two sided. Ihave the charts for both the 4140 and 8250 clamps. Send me your email or PM me and I will scan and send to you in an email. NO charge of course.

KR500 has generously scanned and sent copies to those of us who needed this VERY hard to find literature--I had searched extensively on the internet with no luck until Dan responded--Another great example of the great help available from the fine members of the FORDBARN--

THANKS DAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While he has been on line in the V8 section today, this one is from 2016-17 so you might send a PM or email to get his attention because he may not be looking in the Model A section.

I realize this is an old thread.I came across it yesterday in my search. I have an Ammco 890 arc grinder with a 8250 fixed anchor shoe clamp.

I’m searching for the gauge plates and sleeves. If anyone has a set you’d part with or perhaps trace the plates and measure the sleeves so I could have some made I’d sure appreciate it. I’ve been searching for a while and it seems I might as well be looking for dinosaurs.

I too would appreciate a copy of the chart just in case I find the plates and sleeves.

[email protected].

Thanks

KR500,

Hi, I hope this message finds you well. I know this is an older post, but since I'm a new member I am not yet allowed to send private messages. I see you've been able to provide Ammco reference chart #4181 to other users on this forum, and I was hoping you could do the same for me. I just purchased a Model 890 Brake Shoe Arc Grinder with the #8250 brake shoe clamp, and have most everything I need for it except the reference chart. My email is [email protected] if you'd prefer to contact me there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
-Phil

KR500,
I have recently inherited an 890 Saf-Arc with 8250 clamp and shims, but need the gold plated list you mentioned having. If you are still willing to send a copy, or if anyone else that got a copy can forward it, I would greatly appreciate it. Since I'm fairly new, and haven't posted the minimum number of times it won't let me PM/email anyone.
My email is rileydarren @ johndeere.com

Thanks,
Darren
