Default Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash

Any idea what these holes were used for? Dash panel cover has hole in center that does not align with these two holes. Thank you for any input!

Is there a different style dash panel for the late 31s?

nope, that is the one used from mid 30 all the way to the end.

you will notice there is a tab on the back side of the square hole, that tab goes in one of the two hole in the light. and a screw, lock washer, and nut goes through the other hole.

When I ordered a dash lamp assembly for my early 1931 68B Cabriolet there were two styles available, and of course, I ordered the wrong one! Rather than return it I simply shortened the bracket to fit.

Measure the distance between the holes and ask someone at Snyders which one fits it.

The Cabriolet is an open car but used the closed car's light
