Default door latch

Are the door latche's on a 30coupe cad plated or painted?

I believe all closed car latches were plane steel and painted.

My original latches on my 29 Tudor look like they are cad plated. I think they were installed when the body was painted and as such, the outside should have body color.

Tom, thanks for the reply. was thinking about having them cad plated as I have some other parts that need it as well.
