Default Gas tank filler neck

I have two 1929 gas tanks; a good one with a bad filler neck and a bad one with a good filler neck. I want to replace the bad neck with the good one. How do I get the necks out? How do I install and seal the good neck?

I'n not sure if all 29's have a brass filler neck, but I know a guy that had his 2-23-29 tank dipped for cleaning and it came out of the tank minus the filler neck, so be careful with too much heat, or certain chemicals, or electrolisis.

What is the problem with the BAD tank? Rust holes, interior rust, or leaks from cracks?
