Question Vacuum Wiper Motor Vacuum???

My wiper motor does not work and it is probably the motor but here is my question. How do I know if I'm getting enough vacuum at the motor to run it?

other than using a vacuum gauge put your tongue on the end of the hose. if you hear it slurp your good. another test if it holds a small piece of cardboard without falling off

I have a cheap syphon pump with a small bore hose that enables me to generate enough vac to test the motor if that helps?
