Default Female dovetail assemble for slantwindow

Vendors sell the innards but how do these come apart?

Recently I saw the directions that come with the A&L built kits. It appears that the sliders can be installed from the front. I would call A&L and talk with them.

I believe the fordor has the rear cage spot welded to the inside of the door post.

My perspective is from the cabriolet which have them wood screwed to the face of the post.

It is important to understand they must function properly. The sliders must have full travel with only moderate finger pressure. Some older repros used a very stiff spring that would not allow them to operate properly. The current A&L supply should do the job properly.
