My only real addiction (not counting early Ford V-8's

) was smoking cigarettes. I smoked about 20 years and knew it was affecting my health. Stopped cold turkey around 1980. It was a tough addiction for me to break but I feel so fortunate now that I was able to quit. I'm sure that some of my family members and close friends are no longer here now because they would not or could not give it up.

You should be very proud ,Craig ! Having watched someone die a very agonizing death from sclerosis of the liver from alcohol and a Dad that didn't stop early enough, I think you have done yourself and your family a wonderful favor. Keep on posting annually to remind others about this terrible disease!
