Default 1951 Mercury Monarch VIN Tag Identification

Hi, new to this group... first post.
I recently purchased a 1951 Mercury Monarch and am looking for information on the VIN Tag. here is the info as it is on the tag.

ENGINE 1C-8954 MODEL 0374
TRIM - AC PAINT 20
SERIAL - 03(Possibly C3, hard to make out) 74 H51 - 73825

There is also another tag on the Passenger side A-Pillar but it has so much paint on it that I cannot make it out... will clean it up for further investigation.
I have also been told that there used to be a Mercury Manufacture Plant in Burnaby BRITISH COLUMBIA many years ago, and since this car came from the Abbotsford area I am curious to see if it a BC Manufactured car. Any info on that would be great as well.
Thanks in advance.
PS... looks like I missed the 'R' in Monarch on my profile name...oops!

Cut and past your post on the early V8 section. This section is not for car questions, it is for questions about the site and it's use.
