Making a reply to a thread?

Lets say there is a thread about a starter, and it has 12 replies. If I wanted to reply to the guy with the 8th reply it seems I can't come in just below him, but can only be the 13th reply. Is there a way to reply to someone up the list?

Tom hit the quick reply opposite the reprt button on the post you want yours under. Rod

You will still have to type in the same box and hit the reply button under the box when you are ready to post it. This becomes more obvious in the Hybred version. Rod

Skip, actually the Jupiter is a 4-4-0 and I think it's one of the most beautiful engines ever built, that's why I used it for my avatar. The 4-4-0 is also called the "Amercian type" locomotive, because that was the common type that got America rolling during the early years, mid to late 1800's.

If you want an excellent DVD or video tape about the rebuilding of a steam locomotive, there is a great filiming of the rebuilding of the 261, which is housed in Mpls. Go to "Friends of the 261" and you may find a link to it. A Google search should turn up something. Unfortunately the 261 isn't running this summer and it's up for sale if you have $250,000.

AND, if you hit "Multi Quote" at each person you want to quote and then hit "post reply", you can reply to multipal persons at the same time.
