sold items
Once an item is sold(or given away), is there some way to delete, or earmark the posting?
thanks, Bruce |

Re: sold items
You can do it a number of ways.......
You can edit your original post stating the item has been spoken for OR You can reply to your own post and state the item is spoken for. Both the above I recommend just in case the original person doesn't come thru with the money then you could edit the post again and say it's back up for grabs. OR You can delete the whole post if no one has replied to it.

Prefer that you just reply to your post that it is sold or no longer for sale and then hit the report button which sends it to a Moderator who then can close the posted ad. The reason is even though a moderator does not get in between deals, we can keep the closed post for review if a buyer or seller does not hold their end of the deal and shows a history or pattern of maybe not being a honorable buyer or seller. Moderator then can ban the person with a checkered history who doesn't fulfill the deal so others don't get taken in the future. If you delete the ad - we have no way of monitoring to know if who said what. So please going forward post sold or no longer for sale and hit the report button and state the reason. Thanks, Cob Moderator |
