Default Trunk/Cooler options?

Out of curiosity, how does everyone carry a cooler in the summer months for tours or outings? I have a 1928 Tudor and will have passengers in the front and rear seats.

I have a small soft cooler I carry in my trunk. I freeze ½ dozen water bottles the night before and load other items on top along with some cooled sodas.

By the time I want a drink, the frozen bottles are usually defrosted.
