Zinc additives in oil

I was wondering what most use as a good zddp zinc additive for oil changes. I have used several and kind of like using the small bottles of additive thinking I would get a lot of the zinc to put in with the regular oil. I've heard too much though could be corrosive. Just wondered what Ford Barn thought about it and the best recommendations for brand of zinc. I know members here like me do "baby" their machines.
