Default clearance for clutch

Have t-5 setup for 1953 flathead pickup engine. Clutch wont disengage. Did some measurements and t-5 trans shaft is only 1/4 inch from raised center on clutch disk. Theirs plenty of depth for pilot bearing shaft. Im thinking clutch is hitting trans shaft and wont disengage. Pressure plate is 10 1/2 1800 lb and 10 1/2 clutch disc. All from speedway. no help from speedway. Is their another clutch disk that would give more clearance?

Ask your question in the Early V8 section. The section is for questions about the site itself.
