Best not to use copper but cunifer or its equivalentwhich is an alloy developed for the purpose. Doesnt corrode, is easy to form and resists cracking. Commonly used for brake lines, you can buy it in smaller bores for gauge lines.

I have had both the copper and the nylon FAIL!! Years and years of service take their toll and before you realize it your old street car has 10 years logged. I have been using the steel sheathed flexible line for many years now. You can even buy it with fittings already installed if you shop for a length that fits your requirement. Look at your Summit or Jeg's catalog or go to O'Rielly and ask them.
