Where the timing pin is. Model A has a round boss. The B cover will advance your timing 14* BTC

According to the Ford Garage article on timing covers, the advance is 19 degrees crankshaft, 9.5 degrees camshaft ???

I have a B block/B timing cover with the A head and distributor. I retarded the distributor rotor about 10 degrees from the pin setting and it starts easily and the manual advance seems right on for driving when centered.

Bob, is that a typo on your drawing. I think the "B" ignition timing is 19° BTDC. or 9.5° crankshaft.
