I will be there with my '29 Phaeton. It will probably be the only green '29 there, so stop me when you see it!

I saw a thread earlier this year saying that they are no longer allowing new participants into their show. If you didn't participate in the past couple of years, you would not even be considered for this year's event. Is that how it is or did they reconsider?

I have never participated before and I got in. You just had to apply. I think what they were really saying is that you are not grandfathered in this year if you were in past years. You have to reapply.

They say next year they will want to see more pictures of your car, but they don't imply you won't get invited. I think they are going to be "choosier".

Thanks for the information Jim. I must have misunderstood the threads that I read here earlier this year. I'll have to see if I can get in next year. Some of the guys in my local club go and they say it is great!

I think the thread you refer too was a couple months ago and I think Brent had a very good explanation. Wayne

Without a doubt the best show I have been to. Fantastic cars and the fact they are moving around the grounds all day was incredible! So many young people driving old cars was very encouraging.

My wife and I attended for the 1st time and thoroughly enjoyed it. We drove up from GA (modern) and it was worth it for sure. I hope to be back next year.

Thanks for the kind words. And thanks for posting the picture, Brent. We met a lot of really great people here.

When I saw all of the fantastic cars there in the 1928-29 class, I never, ever, expected to win First Place with my car. I was shocked. Second Place went to a really cool '29 Bugatti! It was a fun and memorable weekend for me with my Dad.

Congrats to you Ryan. You have a VERY deserving car. I regret all I got to do was say Hello in passing, as I had every intent to come back and chat with you some. The weather just upset my rhythm I suppose. None the less, I am very proud for you and your Coupe.
