Default Throttle plates stromberg 97

When installing new throttle plates Which way do the throttle plates go.
Do the half moon marks on the plates face down toward the engine or up?

You should be able to figure that out. They go in so the flat on the edge of the throttle plate sits tight against the throttle bore.

Some of these things are not apparent to the naked eye; the throttleplates are not perfectly round, but are actually elliptical shaped... They have an opposing 7 degree bevel on both edges and it's important they go in with the crescents facing down, towards the rear.
