50 51 pickups
I really like the looks of the grille on the 51 ford pickup but have a chance to buy a 50 from a buddy real cheap. can I put the fenders and front grille from a 51 on the 50 cab? bolt right up or a lot of fab? thanks and give some comments also maybe im all wet here.

The whole assembly will bolt on a '50 cab. I believe the inner fenders are the same, but the hood and outer fender pieces are different between '50 and '51.

It will fit. This was done a lot years ago when the 48-50 fenders went obsolete from Ford and the junkyard stock was getting scarce. I've parted out a couple that were done this way. No real modifications are needed. You even swap just the hoods between early and late as long as you switch the latch plate parts also.
