Very nice photo, that car is beautiful. Is that a hemlock in the background?

Re: Model A's in the snow
Beautiful picture! My A stays high and dry in the shed come wintertime. First thing they do here in MN is lay down a heavy layer of salt. In looking at your pics I see how slushy the snow is on the ground, here the ground is froze solid so the snow stays hard on the ground/roads. Drive on it for a bit here and it turns to slick ice. That's why the salt is needed. I hate it, but understand its necessary. Most vehicles are starting to show serious rust in 5 to 7 years. I'm looking forward to buying an aluminum F150 some day. No more rust! My brother's $60,000 Chev Denali pickup rusted through the cab corners and over the rear wheels in 5 years from new. He had to have the frame reinforced too due to rust. The Chev steel is the most susceptible.

Re: Model A's in the snow
Aluminum doesn't "rust", but it sure as hell will corrode.

Re: Model A's in the snow
I found another model A in the snow photo. My doodlebug in a snow drift after the blizzard of 1978.

Re: Model A's in the snow
My wife was freaked out that day, we drove over the hill in puyallup on fruitland ( I think that was part of the grand tour for the 1914 National meet.) There were a few inches of snow, and she was worried because her grandmother had died in an twenties car after sliding into the ditch on a snowy road over by Pullman wa. Also did you see the pitting on the bright work of mike T’s cabby? They must have put something down on the route he drove. It was a fun day.

Re: Model A's in the snow
Great photos. We had a small dusting of snow today here in Georgia but it was gone quickly. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Model A's in the snow
Here in N.GA we had 5" but on the Weather Channel this morning they said some parts of GA got 10". I am located in the foothills so it was probably in the N.E. GA mountains.
