Stock Ride Height
Good day! I am wondering if anyone has a reference on stock ride heights for a 1928 Tudor, as well as measurement points? Thank you.

Re: Stock Ride Height
Hi Mark,
Les Andrews' book "Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook Vol. I" says 18-11/16 +/- 1/2 inch to the CENTER of the front bumper to ground for a 1928 or 29 and 18-1/2 +/- 1/2 for a 1930 or 31. Measure with tires fully inflated to 35 psi. He does not give a similar measurement for the rear. Differences in tire size from different manufactures can change the heights.

Re: Stock Ride Height
Hi Mark: This is all that's out there for measurement. You should have a 1/2" between the bottom of the front Shackle and the Axle. I haven't been able to find a Riding height measurement on any of the frame charts that I've found. Being a body and frame guy this drives me crazy!! JP

Re: Stock Ride Height
Dyke's lists the ground clearance as 9 inches.

Re: Stock Ride Height
Good drawing Duke. Shows both front and back bumper heights. I have that same book. I notice the '30-31 are a bit lower in the rear.
