Default 1948 Ford ignition Switch

I when to change my ignition switch and noticed on the back of the original one I removed had 3 pins. 1) Marked Coil, 1) Marked GA, 1) Marked AM
The new switch has Bat. Coil, and GA marked in the back.

So, what does AM Stand for?
